6,500 companies from 70 countries have showcased technologies for tomorrow’s production plants and energy systems. More than 220,000 trade visitors – 70,000 of whom came from outside Germany – used HANNOVER MESSE to catch up on the latest technologies and make key investment decisions.
The Bearing Industry
1359 different bearing industry related products where displayed by 426 companies in Halls 22, 24, 25, 16 & 17. Hall 22 was the main Hall for bearings overwhelmed by the gigantic booths of Schaeffler and SKF. The high presence of Chinese bearing manufacturers were remarkable and confirmed by many attendees.
For the first time in the Hannover Messe history it was remarkable to see the high amount of partnerships and synchronization between European and Asian bearing distributors/manufacturers and further localization of bearing brands. The evidence that the mentality of the industry is changing rapidly from ‘Where is it produce?’ into ‘How is it produced?’

The JESA robot from Swiss was watching over Hall 22..
The bearing test rig built by ELGETI Engineering, a double station bearing test rig type EELPAX- 310. This station is suitable for lifetime testing of e. g. tapered roller bearings up to 310 mm which can be subjected to maximum 400 kN axial load. By its two stations which are completely independent from each other, this machine can test four specimens simultaneously.
BEGA SPECIAL TOOLS were also present with some NEW and REVOLUTIONAIRY products for the bearing industry.
